AUSTIN POWERS 2: THE SPY WHO SHAGGED ME

SPOILER by Eireann

Austin travels back in time for a second chance to save Felicity. The two Austin compare their sexiness before "Austin from 10 minutes ago" rescues the girl. Dr. Evil tosses the vial of mojo in the air, and the two Austins collide while trying to retrieve it. The vial shatters on the floor and the mojo escapes. Felicity explains to the distraught Austin that he didn't actually need his mojo, given all he's accomplished without it. Austin convinces Felicity to accompany him to the future, skipping the crummy 70s and 80s. Dr Evil escapes in his phallic ship to more funny comments from spectators back on Earth. Fat Bastard catches up with the couple at Austin's pad, and despite a seeming emotional breakthrough, decides to kill them both anyway. Felicity squares him, and he goes down like a ton of bricks. The cue for a swinging party! Mini-me is picked up by the spaceship as Dr Evil threatens Austin with retribution for his foiled plans..

REVIEW by Eireann

OK, I'm officially sick of the Austin Powers movement. Mike Myers shows his SNL roots by beating the same tired jokes to death through successive sequels. However, I must admit to rewinding and re-watching that "JOHNSON" montage of reactions to Dr. Evil's space shuttle. Proof to all my "youÕre too artsy" detractors, I guess, that I can enjoy silly comedy once in a while :P
