Welcome!
You are cordially invited to Nerd Night! Join us on the last Monday of the month
for a night of fun and games in the heart of lovely industrial Scarborough!
Come play the
night away in the company of all your favourite board games (and friendly people too)!
March 25th is this month's Nerd Night, Version 4.1 for those keeping count.
We're still at the Kennedy/Lawrence Pizza Nova, though with all these new babies showing up, who knows for how much longer?
As usual, RSVPs are appreciated, but feel free to drop in at
your convenience anytime between 7-11pm, and/or to pass an invitation (along with this URL)
to game-lovin' friends and family members!

Location and Directions
Pizza Nova* (416.751.1200)
2272 Lawrence Avenue East at Kennedy Road (map);
@ the SW corner of White Shields Plaza (which has ample parking).
Easy TTC access from Lawrence East RT (a 5-minute walk), Kennedy (#43) or Lawrence (#54) buses. Highway access from 404/DVP (Lawrence exit) or 401 (Kennedy exit). As a virtual smack-upside-the-head for those Bloor-Danforth downtown-y types who consider Scarborough too remote: Kennedy station is only about 20 minutes from Yonge & Bloor!
*Please note: Pizza Nova is a family restaurant. While it's understandable to be upset when getting whomped in Lunch Money, or disenfranchised in Catan, please keep the profanity to a minimum. In place of boring, overused swear words, Nerd Night encourages the substitution of lame, Flanders-y expressions or foreign phrases as they will make you sound postmodern or worldly, and therefore sexy. (Fact!)
Food & Drink
Good news for those who enjoy a beer while gaming: Pizza Nova is an LLBO establishment. Even better news: Tuesday are Half-Price Pizza Night! They also offer a variety of salads and desserts, and a fudge brownie-zilla that is to die for (Menus here - approx 200k each, front, back).
The management has suggested we use a "cash and carry" payment policy. That is to say, pay the wait staff for your food as soon as you order it - unpaid tabs or frazzled waiters won't make hosting future Nerd Nights very plausible. For the light-of-wallet, there are two banks (a credit union and a CIBC) in the same plaza as the restaurant.
